BitAudit
A regular health check for Linux servers and the sites they host.
BitAudit connects to Linux machines over SSH, checks their security and stability, and inspects WordPress, Joomla and Moodle installations. It is read-only: it reports problems and leaves the fixes up to you.
What it does
Read-only
No automatic changes on your servers: BitAudit observes, measures and reports. Fixes stay under your control.
A dedicated user
A script sets up an auditing user on each machine with only the read permissions it needs.
SSH access log
Keeps track of who connects to the machines, from where and when.
Sites and CMSs
Checks the WordPress, Joomla and Moodle installations on each machine, including versions and configuration.
Status at a glance
For each machine: operating system, last check and the number of critical issues and warnings, colour-coded.
Reports and alerts
A detailed report for every check and an email when it finds an anomaly.
